FallFest 2018 Food, Events and Entertainment
The Children's Costume Parade has been the tradition for over 27 years in Danville. Super heros, Disney characters, scary monsters, and creepy creatures of all ages are invited to be part of the annual tradition on Saturday beginning at 10 AM. The parade starts at 300 Hartz Ave. at School Street and will be led by Sparky the Fire Dog. Note: Participants should assemble in the Faz Restaurant parking lot starting at 9:45 AM. You will not be able to drive on Hartz Avenue to drop off your child. The parade will head north along Hartz Avenue ending at Diablo Road. The fun will continue all day with safe trick-or-treating at merchants and vendors along the parade root.
The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is again hosting train rides for the kids. The museum is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich hisory and heritage of our unique valley. Hope you'll visit us! Saturday the train will operate on East Prospect and Sunday find them in the FAZ parking lot.
Next Step Dance Academy offers dance instruction and performance opportunities "for the mind and body" for all ages and in all styles of dance. Come see artists perform challenging dance moves! Students of Next Step are exposed to musicality, technique and artistic expression that make dance classes enjoyable and healthy. Next Step Dance Academy will perform on Saturday at 1:30 pm - at the end of Hartz Ave.
Expect the unexpected from The Danville Women's Club. Word is out that a Flash Mob is on the loose. Who knows where or when! The Danville Women's Club is part of the world's largest women's nondenominational, nonpartisan, international service organizations of volunteer women.
