The Children's Costume Parade has been the tradition for over 25 years in Danville. Super heros, Disney characters, scary monsters, and creepy creatures of all ages are invited to be part of the annual tradition on Saturday beginning at 10 AM. The parade starts at 300 Hartz Ave. at School Street and will be led by Sparky the Fire Dog. Note: Participants should assemble in the Faz Restaurant parking lot starting at 9:45 AM. Please note that you will not be able to drive on Hartz Avenue to drop off your child. The parade will head north along Hartz Avenue ending at Diablo Road.
The fun will continue all day with safe trick-or-treating at merchants and vendors along the parade root. Other kids activities include bungee jumps, pony, a bounce house and Kiddy Train Ride.
The Classic Car Show sponsored by David Miller, Ultimate Security, takes place on Sunday, 10:00 to 5:00 on East Prospect Avenue. Enjoy the coolest array of cars and hot rods to grace the street. Not only do you get to look under the hoods, you get to meet and talk to the owners of these awesome machines!
Next Step Dance Studio offers dance instruction and performance opportunities "for the mind and body" for all ages and in all styles of dance. Come see artists perform challenging dance moves! Students of Next Step are exposed to musicality, technique and artistic expression that make dance classes enjoyable and healthy. Next Step Dance Studio will perform on Saturday at 2:00 pm - on South Hartz.
East Bay Dance Company is San Ramon Valley's prestigious dance studio. We are a national award winning studio and have performed in many exciting places including Las Vegas, Disneyland, and the Oracle Arena for the Golden State Warriors half-time show. Most recently, we were featured in Disneyland's televised Holiday Spectacular Parade. East Bay Dance Company will perform on Saturday at 11:00 am - Corner of Hartz and Prospect.
I Can Do That! is a non-profit youth theatre company dedicated to creating professional, full-scale musicals by combining quality training with imagination, freedom, and fun. "We empower our students by providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to build confidence, creativity, and friendships through the art of live theatre. I Can Do That will perform on Saturday at 12:30pm - Corner of Hartz and Prospect.
Uncle Rico Classic Rock Band An accomplished band of Bay Area musicians delivers high-end performances focusing on ambitious and challenging Classic Rock pieces. Band members of Uncle Rico have been been singing, performing, and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers. Join us for the best in your favorite rock classics and to hear a band that can bring the party to a roar, no matter how big the crowd! Uncle Rico Classic Rock Band will perform on Saturday at 2:30 pm - Vet's Building patio.
